Two District Businesses Recently Recognized with Several Awards

  • Kylee J. Marshall, owner of the art/wellness studio Of Dirt and Wildflowers: A Creative Space to Bloom and Grow, had her book "Of Dirt and Wildflowers: A Memoir on Growing the Courage to Bloom" recognized in two categories by the NYC Big Book Awards! Kylee's book was awarded "Distinguished Favorite - New Non-Fiction Never Before Published" AND "Winner in the Cover Design - Non-Fiction." Of Dirt and Wildflowers is located on the 2nd floor of the Lowell School.

  • Gemini Beer Company was voted "Best of Brews" by the attendees at the 2023 Fruita Fall Festival's "What the Fest Brew Fest​"! This was a back-to-back repeat win for Gemini who also won "Best of Brews" at the 2022 Fruita Fall Festival. The Gemini taproom is located on the 1st floor of the Lowell School.
