May contain: college, building, architecture, chair, furniture, person, people, woman, adult, female, bicycle, vehicle, transportation, hat, clothing, urban, shoe, footwear, speaker, electronics, handbag, bag, accessories, grass, and plant

Several small businesses located in the District were recently recognized by Block Party GJ in an excellent profile of The Historic Lowell School Building entitled "From Schoolhouse to Community Hub."

GJ Block Party's student journalists and photographers perfectly captured the collaborative culture and entrepreneurial energy of the many small businesses, local artists, and community non-profit/civic groups that call the Lowell School Building home.

Block Party GJ covers all things happening in Central Grand Junction and is a collaboration between Colorado Mesa University's Advanced Media Writing and Advanced Photo Journalism classes. Please bookmark their website and support their student journalism.

If you haven't been by the Lowell School Building recently, please stop by and say hello to all the folks who are helping to write the next chapter of the building as a community hub. Your support of all these small businesses, local artists, and community non-profit/civic groups also directly supports the ongoing restoration and reactivation of the Lowell School Building itself.
