Local Business News in the District

The District is pleased to announce some exciting news about two local businesses in the District...
Hot Ice Cafe will now be open at The Historic Lowell School Building every week starting on Tuesday 10/14. Hot Ice Cafe will initially be open Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday evenings for Grand Valley Food Truck Fridays. Hot Ice Cafe can also provide their delicious beverages and desserts for events hosted in the District, whether inside the Lowell School Building or outside on the Lowell Village Commons.
In other District business news, The Business Times recently published a great profile of local business Hawaii Street Food. Hawaii Street Food has been open in the District for a few months now, and their authentic and tasty Hawaiian cuisine has quickly attracted a devoted following. Hawaii Street Food is located in "The Food Truck Court" just north of the Lowell School Building, along with several other amazing food trucks.
Please stop by the Lowell School Building soon to visit Hot Ice Cafe, Hawaii Street Food, and all the other small businesses, local artists, and non-profit / civic groups operating in the District! Your patronage of the local businesses at the Lowell School Building directly supports the ongoing historic restoration of the former schoolhouse as well as the numerous free community events hosted within the District.
