A friendly reminder from the District's trash/recycling contractor Republic Services: plastic bags are not allowed in District recycling containers located behind the Lowell Village Townhomes and behind the Lowell School Building. 

Please take a moment to review Republic Services' recycling guidelines showing what can and cannot be recycled. Note that plastic bags and other "filmy plastics" can be recycled at retailers such as grocery stores; otherwise they must be thrown in the trash.

Feel free to forward this info to other individuals who may not already be subscribed to District communications (e.g. employees, tenants, or vacation rental property managers).

Thank you for recycling responsibly to help the District meet its sustainability goals and keep the District's service costs as low as possible!
