District Welcomes Two More Local Businesses to the Lowell School

The District is excited to welcome two more local businesses to The Historic Lowell School Building!
Speak In Green will be opening in The Principal's Office inside the Lowell School Building in early April. From business owner Tanya Collings: "Speak in Green is a creative, community-driven space dedicated to growing houseplants, succulents, microgreens, and rare herbs, alongside a rotating selection of botanical-themed art and antiques. We’re here to cultivate connection, offering free and low-cost community events and workshops for children and adults, from plant swaps to hands-on creative planting sessions. We’re sprouting ideas for new collaborations, so please reach out if you're interested in partnering with us!"
Levi The Burrito Kid will be setting up outside the Lowell School Building (or inside during inclement weather) every Friday morning from 7:00 a.m. until sold out. From chefpreneur Levi: "The Burrito Kid is bringing delicious, homemade breakfast burritos to the community and learning valuable business skills along the way. Proudly approved by Mesa County Public Health, we're on a mission to serve up tasty, fresh burritos for everyone!"
These two local businesses will be bringing new services and dining options to the residents and visitors of the Lowell Village Metro District and Downtown Grand Junction. They will be joining the existing community of local businesses, artists, and non-profit/civic groups already open at the Lowell School Building.
Please stop by The Historic Lowell School Building soon to show your support for Speak In Green and The Burrito Kid!
