District Welcomes Grand Valley Food Truck Fridays to the Lowell School
The District is excited to welcome Grand Valley Food Truck Fridays to The Historic Lowell School Building in Downtown Grand Junction! Starting on Friday 10/4 the "Grand Valley Food Truck Fridays@Lowell School" will happen on the first Friday of each month through Spring. This event will feature great food, craft beer, live music, as well as local artists' work on display as part of the monthly "First Friday Downtown Artwalk." The event will potentially be expanded to weekly (every Friday) from Spring to Fall.
Several food trucks have already signed up for the Friday 10/4 launch of Grand Valley Food Truck Fridays@Lowell School, including Armando Tacos, The Little Pink Truck, and LuckyThai Food Truck. Several more trucks will be added in the coming weeks.
Lowell School favorite Misti Dawn Melody will also be performing live on 10/4 outdoors on The Commons (front lawn of the Lowell School). The full schedule of musicians performing at future Food Truck Fridays will be announced soon.
As always, the Gemini Beer Company taproom and several of the other small businesses located inside the Lowell School will be staying open late during all Food Truck Friday events.
