District's Work Featured on the Front Page of The Daily Sentinel
The work of the District and its developer REgeneration was featured today on the front page of today's Daily Sentinel in a great article by Ann Wright.
The article highlights several community events at the Lowell School and on the Lowell Village Commons. All of these events receive in-kind support from the District, with many receiving financial support from REgeneration.
The article also discusses some the recent “3R investments" (Repair, Restore, and Reactivate) that REgeneration and its historic preservation partners have made in the Lowell School thus far in 2022. Several current and future Lowell School businesses are mentioned by name in the article. While the District does not provide any financial support to the preservation of the Lowell School, it does provide important in-kind support. For example, the District is the authorized public agency recipient for Lowell School historic preservation grants from the State Historical Fund.
Thanks to all District community members (residents and businesses) for supporting the vision of the District and its developer REgeneration.
