Details:  Gemini Beer Company hosts a Beehive Design Collective Art Happening outside on The Commons (front lawn) of The Historic Lowell School Building in Downtown Grand Junction.

From the event host: "The work of the Beehive Collective is multidisciplinary and multifaceted. We are most recognized for our expansive narrative graphics campaigns, but we also put a lot of time and energy into projects on the ground in communities where we are based. We create graphics, share stories, tour with our work, connect with local to global efforts, and shape our collective experience together. As with our narrative posters, there is no way to separate the various types of work we do – everything intersects and nothing stands alone.

Our presentations and workshops vary from place to place, as we aim to best reach those in the room. We can lead you through the narrative circuit of a graphic, in a steady stream of storytelling from bees to audience, or we can facilitate a more interactive conversation where we turn over the image interpretation to the group. In our more participatory workshops, we open up space for people to share their knowledge and experiences with each other. Our goal is always to move back and forth between the little and big pictures, connecting the dots between 'single issues' and the bigger systems they exist within. We also facilitate 'Graphics for the Commons' workshops where people participate in collaborative design processes themselves."

 This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
