What:  Food Truck Fridays @ Lowell School

Where:  The Historic Lowell School Building, 310 N. 7th St. at Grand Ave., Downtown Grand Junction, CO 81501. 

When:  Friday 6/5 from 5pm - 9pm. Specific operating hours for each participating businesses may vary.

Details:  Food Truck Fridays @ Lowell School is the Grand Valley's ONLY WEEKLY food truck event that happens EVERY FRIDAY ALL YEAR LONG! This week's event might be our best one yet and features:

> 5 GREAT FOOD VENDORS serving at "The Food Court" just north of the former schoolhouse:  Armando Tacos, Brutal Pie, Hawaii Street Food, Hot Ice Cafe, and Triple Goddess Bakery. All the food vendors have different menus, so everyone in your group can get what they like to eat!  (Food/Beverage Vendors: We've got room for 1-2 more this Friday, so call/text 970-422-1548 if interested in joining us.)

> TEMPO OPEN MIC with prizes hosted by Jacob Noe starting at 6pm. All performing artists are welcome to participate (music, comedy, poetry, dance, etc.). Part of the Lowell School concert series "Hall Pass." Come support live local music (and all the performance arts) at the quirkiest little venue on the Western Slope!

> BEVERAGE DISCOUNTS all night long at Gemini Beer Company in "Classroom 5" Teachers always get $1 off any beverage every Friday. TONIGHT ONLY UNTIL SOLD OUT: Get your very own "Lowell School Centennial Glass" filled with any Gemini beverage for only $10 (normally $12) and the collectible glass is yours to keep!

> BOUNCE HOUSE & OBSTACLE COURSE hosted by Rosales Party Rentals! Each $10 wristband gets you unlimited fun in the Balloon Bounce House and the Obstacle Course, plus a free cotton candy from Rosales' Cotton Candy Machine! (Subject to age restrictions).

> FREE KID'S MEALS & FREE KID'S ICE CREAM! To celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Historic Lowell School Building's completion, the first 100 kids age 12 and under in attendance will get a FREE KID'S MEAL with purchase of any entree from Hawaii Street Food or a FREE KID'S ICE CREAM (cone or cup) with purchase of any regular ice cream or beverage from Hot Ice Cafe!

There's plenty of public seating inside The Historic Lowell School Building and outside on The Commons (front lawn of the building and newest public park in Downtown Grand Junction). So drop by 7th & Grand to say hello, no matter the weather!
