What:  International Workers Day Celebration

Where:  The Commons @ The Historic Lowell School Building, 310 N. 7th St., Downtown Grand Junction, CO 81501

When:  Friday 5/1 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Details:  Indivisible Grand Junction in partnership with several local unions and community organizations host an International Workers Day Celebration.  From the event host:

"Join neighbors from across the community for live music, conversation, and connection. Meet local unions and organizations, explore resources, and learn how people in our region are working to support fair wages, safe workplaces, and opportunity for all.

This is part of a nationwide day of action — no work, no school, no shopping — with many ways to participate at whatever level works for you. The most powerful thing we can do is show up for each other and better understand how tools like collective bargaining strengthen our communities, our economy, and our shared well-being.

Come learn, share, and be part of something bigger. This event is hosted by a coalition of West Slope unions and organizations - more are still being added to the event!"

This event is free and open to the public.

Hosts:  Hosted by Indivisible Grand Junction. For more info please contact Raquel Scianna by email or phone at (847) 373-4054.

Sponsors:  In-kind support provided by REgeneration Development and the Lowell Village Metro District.
