When:  Friday 11/7 from 5ish - 9ish. Specific operating hours for each of the participating businesses listed below may vary.

Details:  Food Truck Fridays @ Lowell School is the Grand Valley's ONLY WEEKLY food truck event that happens EVERY FRIDAY ALL YEAR LONG! The First Friday Downtown Art Walk happens the FIRST FRIDAY each month. This week's event features:

> SIX GREAT FOOD TRUCKS parked at "The Food Court" just north of the former schoolhouse:  Brutal Pie, Hawaii Street Food, Hot Ice Cafe, The Little Pink Truck, RoseBear's BBQ, and Slider Shack.   

> AWARD-WINNING CRAFT BEER and non-alcoholic beverages from Gemini Beer Company located in "Classroom 5". All educators get $1 off beverages every Friday!

> FREE LIVE MUSIC from Paul Teerlinck performing inside "The Principal's Office" from 6-8pm. Part of the Lowell School's weekly concert series "Live from The Principal's Office." Come support live local music at the quirkiest little music venue on the Western Slope!

> FREE ART-MAKING ACTIVITY led by art educator Jessica Davis Soifer with Creative Spirits Colorado in "Classroom #1." For this month's "First Friday Downtown Art Walk" come create hand-made poppies using a variety of materials to honor a veteran you love on Veterans' Day this Tuesday.

> FOOD BANK FUNDRAISER:  Team up with Western Slope Window Cleaning and The Historic Lowell School Building to fight hunger in the Grand Valley and earn yourself some "Lowell School Bucks" good for discounts on food and beverages at this Food Truck Friday! Here's how it works:  Donate any non-perishable food item from 6-8pm at the staffed collection box outside "The Principal's Office" and receive a coupon for $1 off you purchase at the Gemini taproom or any food truck open during this event. All donated food will be provided directly to the Community Food Bank of Grand Junction for distribution in the community.  Restrictions apply:  Same-day purchase required; purchase must be $10 or greater; limit one $1 discount per person.

There's plenty of public seating inside The Historic Lowell School Building and outside on The Commons (the front lawn and newest public park in Downtown Grand Junction). So drop by 7th & Grand to say hello, no matter the weather!
