Where: The Historic Lowell School Building, 310 N. 7th St., Downtown Grand Junction, CO 81501
When: Friday 2/2 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Details: February's First Friday@Lowell School includes 4 art events and 2 food trucks and 1 taproom. Here's the rundown:
- Classroom 11: ArtLight Therapy and Studios is opening the new “Love Wins” exhibit. Participating artists have submitted an original piece that defines "love" for them.
- Classroom 7: Of Dirt and Wildflowers: A Creative Space to Grow and Bloom is hosting a Creator’s Open House featuring multiple local artists. Light refreshments will be provided.
- Classroom 4: Hartmann Farmhouse Apothecary will be exhibiting artwork from several of the artists they display at their original location. All art is available for purchase.
- Confluence Studios (across the street from Lowell School): Opening reception for the new Landscapes of the Imagination exhibit. This show engages the creative materiality of imagined places. Refreshments will be available.
- Food trucks: Dango Burrito AND Pronto Bronto will both be open and serving their amazing dinner menu until 8ish.
- Taproom: Gemini Beer Company will have their award-winning craft beer and non-alcoholic beverages available in Classroom 5 until 10:00 pm.
