What:  ​3rd Saturdays Art Class: Reverse Dye a T-Shirt

Where:  The Commons (front lawn of The Historic Lowell School), 310 N. 7th St., Downtown Grand Junction, CO 81501

When:  Saturday 8/19, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Details:  Creative Spririts Colorado is hosting a "3rd Saturdays Art Class" every month on The Commons (front lawn of the Lowell School). Each month's class will feature a different art project and/or technique. At the August class, participants will learn to reverse dye a t-shirt.  From the event host:  "Come join Jessica from Creative Spirits Colorado to learn how to reverse dye a t-shirt.  With reverse dye, instead of adding color to fabric, you are going to take away color! Learn some new ways to manipulate fabric to create different patterns and contrast. Create a new shirt, explore new ways of design, and connect with friends." This class is open to the public, any anyone interested is welcome to participate. The class fee is $10 and you can purchase a t-shirt right before the class starts for $20 from the Gemini taproom located inside the Lowell School. Class size is limited, so reserve your spot today!
