What:  FREE Community Concert - Sean Damitz

Where:  Lowell Village Commons (the front lawn of The Historic Lowell School Building), 310 N. 7th St., Downtown Grand Junction, CO 81501

When: ​​ Saturday 8/12, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Details:  Sean Damitz will perform an eclectic mix of his original songs out on the Lowell Village Commons as part of the "Music on the Commons" summer concert series. Sean's music defies strict genre definitions, with both folk and country influences. Sean's songs are characterized by thoughtful and inventive lyrics that capture the complexities of modern life in the Mountain West, ranging from the poignant "Coyotes" to the hilarious "I Drive the Only Prius in Rio Blanco County."

About the "Music on the Commons" summer concert series: The 2023 summer concert series will feature both local and out-of-town musicians playing diverse musical styles live and outside on the Lowell Village Commons. The Commons is downtown's newest public park, open to all, and located in front of the historic Lowell School Building ("Old R-5 High"). All concerts will be FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Some public seating is availible, or you can bring your own lawn/camp chairs or blankets, or just sit on the cool, green grass of the Commons. Kids and dogs are always welcome, with commonsense supervision. So gather up some family and friends and come on out to enjoy free live music this summer in downtown Grand Junction!
