Details: Creative Spririts Colorado is hosting a "3rd Saturdays Art Class" every month on the Commons (the lawn in front of the Lowell School. Each month's art class will feature a different project or technique. July's class will focus on creating a woven fiber tapestry. From the event host: "We will be creating a tapestry using personal inspiration, color, texture and a range of fibers. This class will teach you how to plan your design, wrap your notch loom, weave textures and shapes, and finish your tapestry to hang. By the end will be a confident weaver who dares to experiment with a variety of weaving techniques in order to develop your own unique style of weaving. If you already have some of this knowledge come share, connect, experience, and create." This class is open to the public, so anyone interested is welcome to participate. Tickets are $30 and includes: instruction, materials for your own personal tapestry to take home, and 1 free craft beer or non-alcoholic beverage from Gemini Beer Company located inside the Lowell School. Class size is limited, so reserve your spot today!
