Details:  Creative Spririts Colorado is hosting a "3rd Saturdays Art Class" every month on the Commons (the lawn in front of the Lowell School). Each month's art class will feature a different project or technique. The June art class at the Lowell School will focus on "shibori", which is a Japanese dyeing technique using indigo ink that produces patterns on fabric. Shibori is similar to tie dye, but the fabric is manipulated using different folding techniques, wood blocks, rubber bands, clips, etc. This class is open to the public so anyone interested is welcome to participate. A class fee of $25 will be charged to cover costs for materials (including 4 white cotton napkins attendees can dye and take home). The class fee also includes 1 free craft beer or non-alcoholic beverage courtesy of Gemini Beer Company located inside the Lowell School.

Hosts:  Hosted by Creative Spirits Colorado. For more info or purchase advance tickets, please contact event organizer Jessica Soifer via email or phone at (928) 301-6982.
